Alana Pat Davis

Alana Pat Davis was born on December 26, 1962 in Beatrice, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank Jr. and Marsha (Anderson) Habrich. She graduated from North Omaha High School with the class of 1981.

In 1985, Alana married Steven Swanson. To this union, they were blessed with two daughters: Ashley and Robyn. They made their home in Manilla, Iowa until 1990, when they moved to Denison. Later, the couple divorced but continued to raise their daughters together.

On July 13, 2002, Alana was united in marriage to Clifford "Dan" Davis in Denison, Iowa. Alana enjoyed painting ceramics, making fake flower arrangements and going shopping, especially to Walmart. One of her favorite pastimes were taking the top off of her little red jeep and cruising around town. Alana loved the fact that she was able to check off a major bucket list item when she, her sister, Carla and nephew, Marshal took a trip to the Bahamas and was able to put her toes in the ocean.

She was the Assistant Manager at Burger King in Denison for many years. She then drove for Emerald Cab and was employed at Cobblestone Inn and Suites in Denison from the time they opened until she was unable to because of the progression of her cancer. Alana was such a people person who loved connecting with everyone. She cherished her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren.

Alana passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska attaining the age of 60 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Habrich Jr. and husband, Dan Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Ashley and her husband Jon Irlbeck and their children: Braxton and Drey Reis, and Mila Irlbeck all of Audubon; Robyn Wilson-Swanson and her significant other Kevin Smith and Robyn's children: Eryn, Hunter, and Andrew Wilson and Kevin's children: Ashley Smith and Ryker Smith, all of Denison; mother, Marsha Habrich of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Carla Habrich of Omaha, Nebraska; nephew, Marshal Habrich of Omaha, Nebraska; ma and pa, Fern and Bill Davis of Denison; special friend, Randy Davis of Denison; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 with a Funeral Service starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. Interment will be in the Dow City Cemetery in Dow City. Memorials may be directed to the family.
