Albert Adams,

Albert William Henry Adams, Jr., was born June 11, 1931, in Denison, Iowa, the son of Albert William Charles and Marie Sophie Andresen Adams. He passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, at the age of eighty.
Albert was baptized on August 30, 1931, at Zion Lutheran Church and later confirmed there on March 30, 1947. He received his education in the Denison Community Schools. He entered the United States Air Force in March of 1951 and completed basic training at Lackland A.F.B in Texas. After twenty years of service to his country, Albert received his honorable discharge on May 31, 1971. He was united in marriage to Frieda Woebke at Zion Lutheran Church on May 9, 1955. The couple made their home in Denison and were blessed with the birth of three children, one daughter Barbara and two sons, David and Robert.
Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and enjoyed the time spent with his family. He was a member of the Denison V.F.W. and the D.A.V. of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He liked to go out to eat and do projects around the house. He could be found doing needlepoint in his spare time.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Marie; one sister, Beverly; his parents-in-law, William and Helen; brothers-in-law: Herman in infancy; Willie; Albert; Marvin; Alvin; Robert; and Dustin; three sisters-in-law: Berniece, Joann; and Marilyn. He is survived by his wife, Frieda; one daughter, Barbara and her husband, Mark; two sons, David and his wife, Josette; and Robert and his wife, Doreen; four grandchildren: Nate and his wife, Jessi; Ashley and her husband, Dustyn; Zach; and Kirsten; two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Trevan; one sister, Marilyn and her husband, Bernie; one brother-in-law, Walter and his wife, Lorraine; four sisters-in-law, Helen; Helen and her husband, Melvin; Alma and her husband, John; and Betty; other relatives and friends.
