Allan L Boettger

Allan Lee Boettger was born January 11, 1966, the son of Lester and Frances Boettger. He died Friday, July 29, 2016, in a highway accident near Ute, Iowa, at the age of fifty.
Allan was born in Denison, Iowa. He was baptized in Christ on March 20, 1966 at Zion Lutheran Church, Denison and later confirmed there on March 30, 1980. He received his education at the Denison Community Schools, graduating with the class of 1984 and continued his education at WIT in Sioux City, Iowa. After completing his education he worked at West Liberty Golf Course. He also worked for Welte Vault Company in Danbury, Iowa, various construction and manufacturing companies, Tyson and was currently engaged in farming. He was united in marriage to Lisa Gosch at Zion Lutheran Church and was blessed with the birth of one daughter. On May 5, 1995, Allan was married to Tammi Bruck in Manilla, Iowa and was blessed with three children.
Allan enjoyed drawing, writing poetry, singing and X-Boxing with his children. In his leisure time he loved golfing, bowling, hunting and fishing. He was a very friendly and social person who could get everyone around him to smile. He was a participant of the Iowa Donor Network Program.
Allan was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his parents, Les and Frances; two daughters: Ashley and her husband, Cody; and Alysha; two sons Alex and his fiancee, Destiny; and Tom; one grandson, Bentley; two sisters Patricia and her husband, Doug; Diane and her husband, Tim; and one brother, Larry and his wife, Jane; many other relatives and friends.
