Austin Michael Hugeback was born February 7, 1996, the son of Michael and Tracy Hugeback. He passed away August 3, 2019, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Austin was baptized in Christ, confirmed his faith and continued to live in faith. He received his education in the Odebolt-Arthur-Battle Creek-Ida Grove school system and was a graduate with the class of 2014. He worked at Prism Marketing in Schaller during high school. After graduating he went on to work at Tyson Foods in Denison until it closed. He was immediately hired at Farner-Bocken in Carroll where he was presently employed. He was also a substitute Rural Mail Carrier for the last three years.
Throughout his life, Austin wore many different hats. As a young child, he enjoyed dressing in his flannel shirt, cowboy boots and hat, and playing as a cowboy every day. His next phase was everything camouflage. Through his teen years, he went on to a skater/gangster/thug look. As an adult, he had many characters. From his classy look in suits to his top hat and trench coat. Then there was the decked out biker and also a pirate Captain Jack Sparrow look.
Austin enjoyed watching westerns and was a huge history buff. His favorite pastimes included: riding his motorcycle, playing pool and cards, and target shooting. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a good talker, great listener, and loyal to all.
Austin is survived by: his parents Michael and Tracy; five siblings: Samantha and her husband David and their children: Foxx, Harper, and Ronin; Garrett, Cauy, Bentley, and Quinlee; maternal grandparents Ted and Marla and Nancy and Herman; paternal grandmother Nancy; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
