Barbara Mueller

Barbara Louise Mueller was born June 17, 1934, the daughter of Guy and Dallas Swartzenbach Raridon. She died Monday, January 25, 2010, at her home in Ricketts, Iowa, at the age of seventy-five.
She was born in Carroll, Iowa. She received her education in the Carroll schools and graduated from Carroll High School with the class of 1952. On September 2, 1955, she was united in marriage to Anton Mueller at the Presbyterian Church in Carroll. This union was blessed with the birth of two sons. The couple made their home in Carroll until 1958, when they moved to Audubon. In 1961, the couple moved to Earling where they lived for a short while until returning to Calhoun County to farm in 1963. In 1987 they moved to Council Bluffs, and then later to Ricketts in 1997.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially for the hospital auxiliary bazaars. She was a member of the Crawford County Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Anton. Survivors include two sons: Christopher Mueller and his wife, Carol of Ricketts; Curtis Mueller and his wife, Grace of Council Bluffs; seven grandchildren; one sister, Judith Raridon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two brothers: Wade Raridon and his wife, Rosemary of Youngstown, Ohio; Skip Raridon and his wife, Nancy of Carroll; other relatives and friends.
