Becky R. Engel

Mary "Becky" Rebecca Engel was born September 7, 1950, in Denison, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Madonna Christiansen. She passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of sixty-seven.
Becky received her education in the Denison Community Schools and was a 1967 graduate of Denison High School. She was united in marriage to Eugene Engel October 15, 1987, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa.
She was employed as a restaurant cook and as a care giver during her lifetime. A nature lover, Becky enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, rock collecting, birds and animals. She also found pleasure in cooking, rock and roll music, fantasy football, watching history shows and documentaries. She enjoyed watching the Derbies, World Series and Super Bowl, with the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies being her favorite teams. She was a fun-loving lady with a great spirit and most of all had a special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Audrey.
Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; one brother, Ted; one sister, Teresa; one brother-in-law, Larry; nephew, Jeff; and niece, Penny. Survivors include: her husband, Eugene; one son, Tyson and his wife, Renee; one grandchild, Audrey; siblings: Marita; Pat; and Kathy and her husband, Gary; Kay; Beth and her husband, Russ; Debbie and her husband, Dan; Kelli; and Kristi and her husband, Jim; many other relatives and friends.
