Brandon “Mini” Robert Hagge was born August 9, 1996, in Lake City, Iowa, the son of Randy and Delia Hagge. He passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of twenty-two.
Mini received his education in the Ar-We-Va Schools, where he participated in baseball and basketball, and was a 2015 graduate of Ar-We-Va High School in Westside. He continued his education at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in Ankeny, Iowa, where he studied criminal justice.
After completing his education, Mini returned home to Westside where he was employed by King Construction and later worked in the lawn care industry in Denison. Other employment opportunities included FAC Arcadia Coop, working in Des Moines for a year and this last year in Omaha at Alpha Ventures, an establishment he helped build.
Slow pitch softball and basketball were his passions, playing on several teams, he also enjoyed golfing. Mini was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Royals and UNC, being privileged to attend several Cowboys and Royals games. He also found pleasure in going to concerts, taking trips to Nashville and Colorado and socializing with friends, he never stayed home.
Mini was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joyce, Ralph; Robert and Phyllis; one uncle, Kevin; one aunt, Rhonda; two cousins, Elizabeth and Kristy Jo. Survivors include: his parents, Randy and Delia; one brother, Ryan and fiance Heather and children, Zoey and Kylie; maternal grandparents, George and Barb; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
