Cole E. Schneider

Cole Eric Schneider was born April 29, 2005, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Eric and Renae Schneider. He passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of fourteen.
Cole was baptized into Christ June 19, 2005, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig, Iowa. He was currently attending confirmation classes at Immanuel and was in the eighth grade at Schleswig Community Schools.
A popular and energetic teenager with the biggest and loving smile, Cole was involved in many outdoor activities and at school. He played baseball and football and was in the school band where he played the baritone and tuba. He always entered a vegetable from his garden in the Schleswig Calf Show Celebration and driving a tractor in the parade. He participated in the Crawford County Shooting Sports and was a member of the Junior Isaac Walton League. He loved being outside, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, driving a grain cart and being involved with all areas of farming alongside his dad. He loved his family and helping his grandfathers do electrical work or mowing lawns.
Cole’s dog Ruby was never far from his side and neither were his brothers. Often times they took the 4-wheeler to the creek getting stuck and full of mud. Cole especially loved spending time with his friends at the swimming pool, listening to music, driving around or just talking.
Cole was preceded in death by his grandfather, Duane. Survivors include: his parents, Eric and Renae; two brothers, Brock and Gavin; grandparents, Roger and Karin, Paul and Drene, and Kristi; great-grandparents, Larry and Leila; aunts, uncles, cousins; other relatives and friends.
