Cynthia "Cindy" Rae Feddersen

Cynthia Rae Feddersen was born on August 7, 1958 to Nicholas and Phyllis (Pautsch) Feller Bockelmann in Le Mars, Iowa. She was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Charter Oak. Cindy graduated from Denison High School with the class of 1977. Following high school, she spent some time traveling.

Cindy was employed with CDS Global for over 20 years, the Settle Inn and Burger King all in Harlan. She also worked at the Dunlap and Denison Care Center. Cynthia married John Feddersen on August 26, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Denison.

Cindy loved her fur baby, Buddy. She absolutely loved water parks and amusement parks, the higher and faster the rides the better. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and jigsaw puzzles. League bowling was a favorite pastime with her husband, she even made it to the Iowa Games. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and going on special trips with her husband, especially to the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City. They had a trip planned to go to Colorado Springs, Colorado in July.

Cynthia passed away suddenly on February 20, 2022 at the age of 63 years, six months and 13 days.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Nicholas and Daniel Feller; step-brother: Paul and Larry Bockelmann; niece, Nicole Feller; nephew, Mark Feller II; mother-in-law, Gloria Feddersen; and brother-in-law, Michael Feddersen. She is survived by her husband, John M. Feddersen of Denison; siblings: Mark (Sue) Feller of Denison, Pam (Robert) Ehlers of Dunlap, and Lisa Arnold of Valdosta, Georgia; father-in-law, John G. Feddersen of Denison; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison with interment to follow in Crawford Heights Memory Gardens also in Denison. Memorials may be directed to the family.
