Daniel M. Swanson

Daniel Mark Swanson was born June 21, 1990, the son of David and Cindi Jo Swanson. He died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his home in Denison, Iowa, at the age of twenty-five.
Daniel was born in Denison, Iowa, and received his education in the Denison Community Schools, graduating from the Denison Schleswig High School with the class of 2009. He continued his education at WIT/DMACC, receiving a degree in financing from Iowa Western Community College. During his school years, he participated in various sports, soccer being his passion.
Daniel had an infectious smile, and was a sincere, friendly person who was humerus and stood out among his friends. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting and fishing in local ponds, listening music and films. He also enjoyed watching and raising fish in his aquarium. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing soccer, which he enjoyed since the age of six. Daniel was very close to all of his siblings and as a child, worshiped his brother, David. He was very fond of his dog, KiKi and cat, K.C.
Daniel was preceded in death by his son, Bryon Alessander in 2012; and his grandfather, Eugene Swanson in 1992. Survivors include his daughter, Katianna and her mother Estefany; his parents, Cindi Jo and Kevin, and David; grandparents: Doug (Connie) and Patricia; Norma; Nancy and Glen ; sister, Heather; brothers: David (Deb); Derek (Ashley); Eric and ( Niki) ; Michael (Denette); Aaron; Luke (Angel) and Jesse; seventeen nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
