Dean Charles Pigott was born on April, 28, 1960 to Ronald Pigott and Ruth Janssen in Cherokee, Iowa. He was baptized at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee. He attended high school in Kearney, Nebraska.
Dean started work delivering newspapers in Kearny. After he moved to Denison, he worked at WESCO and held various positions in the kitchen and as a custodian. Dean was a big fan of music, especially the 60's, 70's and 80's. He enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his friends at WESCO. Dean moved to the Denison Care Center in 2011, where he especially enjoyed BINGO and crafts.
Dean passed away on his 62nd birthday at the Denison Care Center.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, David Pigott of Rapid City, South Dakota; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Oakhill Cemetery in Cherokee, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to his family to help cover the cost of his headstone.
