Deette Leann Clemons

DeEtte LeAnn Clemons was born June 27, 1960 to the late Phillip and Shirley (Winger) Anderson in Atlantic, Iowa. On March 14, 1980, Dee was united in marriage to Larry Clemons at a family home near Lewis, Iowa and they were blessed with the birth of three children.

Dee had a strong faith in her Lord and was a member of Cornerstone Family Church in Denison. She had a passion for animals and enjoyed being on the farm. She was a one-of-a-kind woman, loved unconditionally, made daily prayers and enjoyed listening to Christian music. Her biggest achievement were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dee had such a pure soul who loved her family more than anything.

Dee passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison attaining the age of sixty-one years, six months and twenty-three days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Clemons in 2017.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Amy and her husband, Saul Ayala of Denison, Jennifer and her husband, Carlos Chan of Denison, and Larry Clemons of Manilla; eight grandchildren: Mariah and her husband, Elias Rios of Omaha, Nebraska, Joslin Arriaza of Ankeny, Ana Chan of Denison, Elizabeth Ayala of Denison, Luis Chan of Denison, Jaedyn Clemons of Branson, Missouri, Alexander Chan of Denison, and Sophia Ayala of Denison; three great-grandchildren: Karsen Clemons, Sebastian, and Lennin Rios; siblings: Phillip Anderson and his wife Gloria of Mesa, Arizona, Diana and her husband, Craig Thompson of Irwin, and Debra Anderson of Irwin; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Cornerstone Family Church in Denison with visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. also at the church.
