Dennis Korner

Dennis Donald Korner was born May 14, 1947, the son of Donald and Dorothy Namanny Korner. He died Thursday, September 9, 2010, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison, Iowa, at the age of sixty-three.
Dennis was born in Denison and grew up in Schleswig, Iowa, where he lived at home with his family for 38 years. After that he lived in various places including Sioux City, Mapleton and then at the Camelot in Denison, where he worked at WESCO for 15 years. On July 26, 2010, he moved to Eventide Lutheran Home.
He enjoyed watching Westerns and listening to music. His favorite treats were Hershey candy bars and brownies.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Dorothy Korner of Schleswig; one brother, Mike Korner and his wife, Kathy of Schleswig; one sister, Connie Gustafson and her husband, Mark of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; five nieces and nephews: Rob and his wife, Rita, Dallas and Colton; Heidi and her husband, Brad, Grayson and Kayley; Kimberly and her husband, Jared, Tanner, Sadie and Jayden; Curtis and his wife, Angela, Austin, Calli and Kara; Jason and his wife, Tammy, and Tyler.
