Dorothy Evelyn Bielfeldt was born January 15, 1922, in rural Crawford County, the daughter of Herbert and Alma Clausen. She passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison, Iowa, at the age of ninety-five.
Dorothy was baptized in Christ February 19, 1922, and confirmed May 31, 1936, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Soldier Township, Charter Oak, Iowa. In 1956, they moved to a farm near Arion where Dorothy was a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her family and helping with the duties of being a farmer’s wife.
