Eduardo Carrillo Guerra nació el 13 de febrero de 1967 en La Atarjea, Municipio de Pénjamo, Guanajuato, México, hijo de Marcos Carrillo Vázquez y Enriqueta Guerra Silva. El 22 de diciembre de 1991, Eduardo se casó con su alma gemela, Irene Alvarado, en la Iglesia de Guadalupe en La Atarjea. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Irene Carrillo Alvarado; sus queridos hijos: Eduardo Carrillo (Jennifer) de Denison y Guadalupe Carrillo (José) de Council Bluffs; cuatro adorados nietos; su padre, Marcos Carrillo Vázquez de La Atarjea; seis hermanos; y muchos más familiares, amigos y una comunidad que extrañarán profundamente su bondadoso corazón, su risa y su espíritu generoso.

Se celebrará una Misa de Exequias Cristianas a las 10:30 a.m. el martes 5 de noviembre de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica Santa Rosa de Lima en Denison. La familia recibirá a los amigos durante una visita de 9:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m., antes del servicio. Eduardo Carrillo Guerra was born on February 13, 1967, in La Atarjea, Municipio de Pénjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Marcos Carrillo Vazquez and Enriqueta Guerra Silva. Baptized and confirmed at San Francisco de Asis in Pénjamo, Eduardo was grounded in a faith that guided him throughout his life. He received his education in Mexico.

On December 22, 1991, Eduardo married his soulmate, Irene Alvarado, at Iglesia De Guadalupe in La Atarjea. Together, they created a loving home blessed with two children, Eduardo and Guadalupe. Eduardo was a devoted family man, filling their home with warmth, laughter, and delicious food. His yard was his pride, carefully maintained and flourishing under his attentive care. Known for his inventive cooking, Eduardo delighted in preparing meals for his family, often sharing his culinary creations in live videos, a testament to his joyful spirit and his eagerness to bring happiness to others.

Music filled Eduardo's life, echoing his deep passion and zest for every moment. But it was his role as a grandfather that brought him the greatest joy; he cherished every moment with his grandchildren, Thiago, Paloma, James, and Gianna, creating lasting memories they will forever hold close to their hearts.

Eduardo Carrillo Guerra, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 57 years, eight months and 17 days.

Eduardo was preceded in death by his mother, Enriqueta Guerra Silva, and brother, Carlos. He is survived by his devoted wife, Irene Carrillo Alvarado; his loving children: Eduardo Carrillo (Jennifer) of Denison and Guadalupe Carrillo (Jose) of Council Bluffs; four adored grandchildren; his father, Marcos Carrillo Vazquez of La Atarjea; six siblings; and many more family members, friends, and a community who will deeply miss his kind heart, his laughter, and his generous spirit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. The family will greet friends during a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will follow later in St. Rose Cemetery, where Eduardo will be laid to rest in peace. Memorials may be directed to the family.
