Everett Allen “Al” Graham was born October 2, 1953, the son of Everett and Marion Graham. He died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of sixty- one.
Al was born and raised in Denison, receiving his education in the Denison Community Schools. He was baptized into Christ on November 10, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church and later confirmed on March 30, 1969. Following high school, Al drove semi cross country with his brother and did general construction. While in St. Louis, he worked for Beck Flavors. On October 12, 1993, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cindy Lutz Drake in St. Genevieve, Missouri. They lived in Imperial, Missouri, and in 1999 moved to Denison, where they made their home.
Al was an avid outdoors man, spending countless hours fishing, camping, gardening and keeping a pristine yard. His fondest hobby was his motorcycles. He started the (Goldwing) GWRRA Iowa Chapter C out of Denison, and was Chapter Director of the GWRRA Misssouri Chapter C. He also designed the artwork for the Goldwing Motorcycle Association of which he was a member. Al’s woodworking craftsmanship was remarkable and he could make anything out of wood. In his spare time he loved to listen to country music and was a Ham Radio enthusiast, often building his own antennas for his radios.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bonnie; one brother, Donald; one niece, Kelly. He is survived by: his wife, Cindy; one brother-in-law, Edwin; three nephews: Eddie and wife, Pattie; Dave and his daughter, Mercie; Tom and his wife, Beth; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
