Gale F Tibbetts

Gale F. Tibbetts was born October 23, 1941, the son of Emery and Edna Hansohn Tibbetts. He died at his home near Deloit, June 17, 2014 at the age of seventy-two.
Gale was born in Denison, Iowa. In 1949, the family moved to Osage, Iowa, where he grew up receiving his education in the Osage Community Schools, graduating with the class of 1960. He farmed with his Uncle Vernet Soenksen for a numbers of years enjoying the life on the farm. Additionally, he drove truck for Warner Trucking and while living in Omaha, Nebraska, was employed by the Postal Services, Inc., a subcontractor for the United States Postal Service. While there, he sorted and delivered mail.
In his leisure time, Gale enjoyed watching movies ranging from the Old Classics to the more contemporary films. He had an interest in cars and followed many of the races. He enjoyed socializing with members of the community and attended most of the local church suppers where he could be found talking about various cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Gary. Survivors include: two brothers, Neil and his wife, Luann; Keith and his wife, Karilynn; two sisters, Lael and her husband, Paul; Leah Tubbs; many nieces, nephews and friends.
