Grace K Linberg

Grace K. Linberg was born October 22, 1947, the daughter of Howard and Grace Rupp Linberg. She passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of 66.
Grace was born in Carroll, Iowa. She was baptized in 1947, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Vail, Iowa and received her first communion there in 1955. Grace received her education in St. Ann’s Catholic School in Vail, and the Denison Community School in Denison.
Grace came from a very loving and caring home. Her mother was diligent in caring for her and getting her established at the various homes she lived. Over her lifetime Grace lived in Glenwood, New Hope in Carroll, Iowa and MOSAIC in Denison, in 1994.
Grace was one of the first people to attend WESCO and was featured in the newspaper for being the fastest at tying knots for Farmland Foods through WESCO. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and meeting people, she never forgot a face once she met them. She was an excellent puzzle solver and putting puzzles together. She loved playing Bingo, Yahtzee, going to the casino and out to eat. Grace looked forward to weekend visits home to see her mother and brother and spending time with her cousins, especially Bo. She loved going to Omaha with her mother and attending weddings. Her loving nature was seen daily by all of her colleagues at MOSAIC, whom she loved dearly.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brother, John and his housekeeper, Jennifer; two nieces Bella and Randa Linberg of Jefferson; Charlene, her second mother; Janeen, her second favorite cousin; other relatives and friends.
