James D Fleming

James Dale Fleming was born to Ruth Kathryn Bricker Fleming and Albert Richard Fleming (Jack). Both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his brother, Bricker (Gayle) and his sister, Kittie (Fred), and his cousin, Donna. He also has many nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves also his special friend, Rhonda, her brother, Brian, and their family, who loved him.
Jim was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska and lived in Riverton, Iowa with his mother, father, and sister, Kittie. His mother died when he was almost 3 years old. His father died when he was 7. After his father’s death, Jimmy’s uncle, David E. Lee, became his guardian. David, Vera and Donna watched over Jimmy and included him in holidays & activities. He lived in the Christian Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa until he was 18.
Jim moved to Denison, Iowa in approximately 1990. He enjoyed working and had many friends. He had an exceptional bond and support of social workers who helped him.
We will all miss Jimmy and his sweet spirit, his love of life and his enormous love of trains.
