Jeffrey (Jeff) Charles Agan, 58 of Manilla, entered into eternal rest on November 08, 2018, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs after a brief battle with an illness.
Jeff was born on November 5, 1960, to Charles E. and Barbara Agan, their eldest child. Jeff grew up in Manilla and attended Manilla Schools, graduating in 1979. While in school Jeff started working in the agriculture industry and would continue to make farming and truck driving his career. With this career path, Jeff would also get to show his talents in mechanics. Jeff was very talented in being able to operate, diagnose, and fix anything with an engine.
While living in Manilla, he would meet his wife Shelly (Lorenzen) Agan. They were married in Carroll, Iowa at the First United Methodist Church on May 26, 2001, and shared 17 years together.
Along with being very mechanical, Jeff also enjoyed the outdoors. Jeff liked to go camping, trail riding, four wheeling, pheasant hunting, shoot trap events, and fish, (Always in a Chevrolet truck of course)! He really liked the family fishing trips to Okoboji where he was able to show and teach young anglers his knowledge and skills. Jeff was always teaching and passing on his skills to others. Jeff also had a soft spot for all things auto racing, either in the pits or in the stands as a spectator.
Jeff is survived by his wife Shelly; father Charles; brother Bradley (Christy); brothers-in-law Tim (Mona); Rodney; Rick; nephew Justin (Emilie); niece Jennifer (Cameron); great-nephews: Blake, Grant, and Lincoln. As well as uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
