Jeffrey Alan Studt was born March 23, 1962, the son of Jacob, Jr. and Dorothy Latham Studt. He passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on Thursday, November 22, 2012, near Vail, Iowa, at the age of 50.
Jeff was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the Mount Vernon High School and married Christina Trusty. The couple lived in Oregon for several years before moving back to Iowa and settling in the Denison, Iowa area.
Jeff was passionate about his family and loved to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors riding Harleys with Christina, camping, and fishing. Jeff liked collecting antiques, playing foosball with friends, and his classic car collection. Before his fingers started to get older, there wasnt anything he couldnt fix on a vehicle.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob C. Studt, Jr. and Dorothy V. Gerboth. Surviving Jeffrey are his wife, Christina of Vail, Iowa; five children: Tanya Luff and her husband, Ben of Oregon; Lacy Aschinger and her husband, Justin of Denison; Anthony of Oregon; Rachel Trusty; Jeffrey Studt Jr., both of Denison; five grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Aniya, Mikah and Sophia; two brothers, Dean Studt and his wife, Juliet; and Thayer Studt and his wife, Tanya; all of Florida; four sisters: JoAnne Kline and Sue Barrett; and her husband, Dennis; both of Iowa; Jackie Corrie and her husband, Todd of Washington; and Aleya Studt and friend, Donald of Florida; stepfather, Lloyd Gerboth of California; and mother and father-in-law, John and Marilyn Mell of Missouri; three brothers-in-law: Herbert Trusty of Florida; Joey Trusty and his wife, Beth; and Kenneth Mell and his wife, Kimberly; all of Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces; other relatives and friends.
