Jeffrey Craig Hollander was born December 4, 1952, the son of Albert and Clara Hollander. He passed away October 20, 2019, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of sixty-six.
Jeff grew up in Denison, graduating from the Denison Community High School. In 1972, Jeff enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1974, receiving the National Defense Medal.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; five sisters: Darlene, Carol, Alice, Ruby; two brothers, Leroy and Arnold. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hollander; stepson, Roger Paulson; stepdaughter, Jackie Prister; siblings: Lois Hicks and her husband, Larry, Elsie Ladehoff, Ted Hollander and his wife, Gloria, Donald Hollander, and Karen Anderson and her husband, Ronald; two sisters-in-law, Ruby Nemitz and Eva Paulson; many nieces and nephews.
