Joel A. Florian

Joel Aaron Florian was born April 21, 1988, the son of Arthur and Julie Florian. He passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at his parents home at the age of twenty-seven.
Joel was born in Council Bluffs Iowa. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and loved the Lord. He received his education in Dow City, the Zion Lutheran School, and graduated from the Denison High School in 2007. After high school, he attended Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Iowa and graduated in 2009 from the Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance program. He currently was employed with Quality Liquid Feeds in Dunlap, Iowa.
Joel enjoyed being a master gardener and entering a lot of his produce at the Crawford County Fair. He also enjoyed being a member of the Josh Thomsen racing crew, and helping out at the Crawford County Racetrack. In his spare time, Joel liked listening to The Gaither Music Group, collecting John Deere tractors, cooking and eating at Buck Grove. Joel especially loved working and helping his Grandpa Ehlert on his farm in Mondamin, Iowa. Joel cherished the many friendships he had, and going to fireworks with them was the highlight of the year.
Survivors include: his parents Art and Julie; one brother, Jerad half-brothers; Mike and Craig; many other relatives and friends.
