John R. Meyer

John R. Meyer, age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn. It was his wishes to be cremated and private services with family will be held.

In addition to his parents, Carl and Nellie Meyer, he was preceded in death by wife, Judy Meyer; sisters, Sheila Jeschke and Karen Bretey; and son-in-law, Rick Leinbaugh.

He is survived by his children: Pam Meyer of Denison, Shari Leinbaugh of Omaha, Julie Thompson (Larry) of Denison, Chad Conway of Sioux City, and Sheila Hansen (Jim) of Harlan; eleven grandchildren: Dereck, Lindsey, Dillon, Zach, Parker, Bailey, Chloe, Sophie, Riley, Chase, and Nathan; numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Annie Kroll (Bob); and brothers, Bob Meyer (Shirley) and Richard Meyer (Marcia).
