Joseph Gail Ridgley

Joseph Gail Ridgley was born March 29, 1940 in Carroll, Iowa, the son Joseph and Mildred Ridgley. He died Thursday, June, 11, 2015 at the Denison Care Center in Denison, Iowa at the age of seventy-five.
Gail was baptized and confirmed into faith at the United Presbyterian Church in Vail, Iowa. On May 28, 1961, he was united in marriage to Sylvia Grimm and the marriage was blessed with the birth of four children. After leaving high school, Gail worked with his father on the farm along with helping other area farmers. Shortly after they were married, Gail and Sylvia moved to Kalispell, Montana where he worked for his father at the Homelite Chain Saw Shop. The couple made then moved to Denison where Gail farmed and worked for Farmland Foods, before moving to Spokane, Washington. Gail enjoyed going with his mother to antique shows and helping her re-finish furniture. The couple moved back to Denison where Gail was employed at American Protein for sixteen years until retiring due to health reasons.
Gail is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law: Bob and Doug. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, Iowa; his children: Deb and her husband, Bob; Timothy and his wife, Shaloh; Steven Ridgley and Jeff Ridgley; Terisa Nelson; many other relatives and friends.
