Judith A. Ettleman

Judith Ann (Judy) Ettleman passed away on the morning of January 29, 2019, at the home of her son in Missouri Valley, Iowa, surrounded by many of her family members after a year and a half battle with breast cancer. Judy Moeller was born April 28, 1947, to Bob and Virginia Moeller of Dow City, Iowa.
She graduated with the class of 1965 from Dow City-Arion Community School where she had been a cheerleader and participated in band and choir. Following graduation, she attended Commercial Extension College in Omaha, Nebraska, taking secretarial classes. Judy married her high school sweetheart, Bob Ettleman of Dow City on July 16, 1967. They raised their son, Jim, and daughter, Lisa, in the Council Bluffs area where Judy was employed by Iowa Western Community College.
Bob and Judy have spent their retirement years in Spring Hill, Florida. She loved the sunshine and enjoyed golfing, finding seashells on the beach, playing cards, and spending time with family, especially her grandkids.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Keto and Adeline; brother-in-law (Bob’s twin brother) Bill; and grandchildren, Cody and Brittany. Survivors include: her husband, Bob; son, Jim and his wife, Cami; daughter, Lisa and her husband, Terry; six grandchildren: Levi and his wife, Karen, Austin and his wife, Michelle, Delaney,Kylee, Kodee and Kloee; three great-grandchildren: Benaiah, Jone and Selah; one brother, Chuck and his wife, Colleen; one sister, Teri and her husband, Roger; one brother-in-law, Chuck and his wife, Diane; two sisters-in-law, Susan and Pat; nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
