Karen K Price

Karen Kay Knueven Price was born December 25, 1942, the daughter of Joe and Marian Knueven. She passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at her home in Vail at the age of seventy-one.
Karen was born in Manning, Iowa. She received her education in the Manning Community School, graduating in 1961. In 1974, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Amsden. She was employed by several packing houses, restaurants and nursing homes. Karen enjoyed cooking and really loved baking, always trying out new recipes. During her spare time, she enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles, collecting cows, recipes and cookbooks.
On September 12, 1998, she was united in marriage to Don Price. The couple resided in Denison, Manilla and Vail, Iowa.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Marian Knueven; brother, Robert in infancy; grandparents; John and Mary Knueven, Henry and Tena Arp; uncles, Hap Walsh, Louie Knueven, Lyle Arp, Frank Knueven; aunts, Arlyne Knueven, Anne Walsh, Dorothy Arp, Jean (Arp) Hugeback. She is survived by her husband Donnie; three sons: Rob and Tami; Jon and Jill; Jimmie and Michell, and her “favorite lil’” bro, Gary and his wife Linda; two sisters; Deb, Jan and Bill; nine grandchildren: Patrick , Allen, Matthew, Josie, Paige, Tyler, Robbie, Amber, and Ashley; one great-granddaughter, Luella; five stepchidlren: Steve; David, Teri; Rick, and Virginia; nieces and nephews: Aunt Claudia .
