Katherine Sue Scheerhorrn

Katherine Scheerhoorn was born September 27, 1955, the daughter of Francis and Loretta Williams Smith. She passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of fifty-eight.
Katherine was born in Ayrshire, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from the Ayrshire High School. She was united in marriage to Scot Scheerhoorn.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed watching birds, reading, the challenge of crossword puzzles, spending time with her family and her dog, Bella and other animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Rosanna Ludwig. Survivors include her husband, Scot; two daughters, Brandy and her husband, Jerrimeh; Kerri; granddaughters, Shelby, Cheyenne, Kaila, Theresa Lynn; Amanda and grandson, Kolton; brothers and sisters, Larry and his wife, Laurel; Deb and her husband, Greg; Mary; Angie and her husband, Keith; Mike; John Smith and Cindy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
