Keith Burgess

Keith Lee Burgess was born April 26, 1957, the son of Walter and Frances Miller Burgess. He died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Crawford County Hospital in Denison, Iowa at the age of 54.
Keith was born in Onawa, Iowa. He moved to Denison in 1980, and began working at WESCO Industries, a career lasting more than 31 years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, going to Hy-Vee and hanging with friends. He enjoyed making placemats and giving them to friends. He was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes. He enjoyed working on model cars, collecting John Deere tractors, and hats with John Deere and Chevy logos. He enjoyed visiting with friends and talked to everyone he met. He enjoyed riding his scooter around, and when he saw someone he wanted to visit with, he would get their attention by waggling his index finger as he looked at them. Free time could find him going on adventure trips of various kinds. He was united in marriage to Linda Smith on June 25, 1994, settling in Denison.
Everyone that knew Keith, had a strong affection for him. He was a likeable person who in turn, liked everyone he met. He will be missed very much.
He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: his wife, Linda; his mother, Frances; and one brother, Paul, other relatives and friends.
