Kimberly Sue Wiles was born September 24, 1957, at Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Wesley and Mavis Rehder. She passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of sixty.
Kimberly received her education in the Sutherland, Iowa, schools and graduated from Sutherland High School in 1976. She was united in marriage to Gary Wiles July 21, 1984, at the Vail Presbyterian Church in Vail, Iowa. Kimberly was employed at Hy-Vee and at Something Unique in Denison, Iowa.
She was a lover of all animals, but particularly cats and horses and enjoyed being at home with her husband and her cats. Kimberly enjoyed being outdoors, plants, doing yard work, sewing, playing the piano, dancing to rock music and crossword puzzles. Pepsi and Cheetos were her favorite foods and Dancing With the Stars, reality TV and All My Children were her favorite television programs. Socializing with her work friends brought her great pleasure. She loved her family and was particularly close to her brothers, and loved being called “Granny” by her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her father, Wesley. Survivors include: her mother, Mavis; her husband, Gary; two daughters, Erin and her husband, Rod; Jamie and her husband, Chris; eight grandchildren, Colton, Julia, Lincoln, Alice, McKennon, Daisy, River and Rehder; two brothers, Murray and wife, Kathy, and Rick and wife, Bambi; other relatives and friends.
