Linda Feller was born May 6, 1957, the daughter of John Lawrence Feller and Ella May Feller. She died Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of sixty-three.
Linda was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the youngest of two girls, and was raised on the family farm. She was baptized, made First Communion and was confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Barnum, Iowa. Linda attended Northwest Webster School in Barnum near Fort Dodge, attended Iowa Central Community College and later attended Western Iowa Tech earning her degree in Sciences. She was united in marriage in 1976 and they lived in Charles City, where she was employed in Home Health Care and they later farmed. They added to this union two children: Angela and Joel.
In 1985, Linda moved to the Denison area and was employed at the Dunlap Care Center from 1985-1989 and also owned a taxidermy shop. From 1989-1998, she was employed at the Denison Police Department and Harrison County Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher. In 1999, due to failing health, she moved to Buck Grove. She became a part-time security officer and private investigator as well as office manager and later became a process server.
Linda was an avid musician playing all instruments, but piano was her forte. She won many awards and advanced onto public recitals. She taught guitar at Iowa Central Community College and also enjoyed being a Children's Choir Director in Charles City. Linda was also a vocalist singing at weddings, funerals and other special occasions and also enjoyed singing in the choir at St. Mary's Church in Dow City. Linda served on the Dow City Fire Department for several years beginning in 1999.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Angela; son, Joel; one granddaughter, Luca; one sister, Jean; and many other relatives and friends. She specially enjoyed time spent with and talking to two very dear friends, Joe and Ron. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Della.
