Louis B. Boger

Louis Bernard Boger was born December 4, 1931, the son of Ferdinand and Martha Wilhemina Hollander Boger. He passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012, at the Denison Health Care Center in Denison, Iowa, at the age of 80.
Louis was born in Denison, Iowa. He began school in the Denison Community Schools and when the family moved to the farm, he attended rural Milford Township School. After he was out of school, Louis worked for area farmers and helped Vernon Kuenhold in the scrap metal business and also bartended for John Chandler at Johns Place in Denison. Louis enjoyed socializing with his friends at Wesco and various establishments in the area.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Raymond, Leslie, Harry, and Clarence; and three sisters: Loretta, Gloria, and Gladys. Survivors include two sisters: Erma Fretz of Charter Oak, Iowa; and Jenell Beam of Arion, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Virginia Boger of Denison; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
