Margaret Ann Hagemann

Margaret Ann Hagemann was born October 28, 1930, the daughter of Meinhard and Henny Kettlesen Feddersen. She died at the Denison Care Center in Denison, Iowa, on October 27, 2012, at the age of 81 years.
Margaret was born at the Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, Iowa. She received her education in area country schools and graduated from Denison High School in 1948. She attended St. Lukes School of Nursing and was employed by the Crawford County Memorial Hospital from 1964 - 1975.
On November 23, 1952, Margaret Ann Feddersen was united in marriage to Leonard Hagemann at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison by Rev. C.W. Schmidt. The couple was blessed with five children.
Margarets hobbies consisted of gardening and flowers, playing cards, Bingo, ceramics, and socializing with family and friends. She loved attending the children and grandchildrens activities. Everyone knew about her raised eyebrows - if they went up, you knew you were in trouble!! She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard; one brother, Hans; one sister-in-law, Gloria Feddersen; two brothers-in-law, Jim Waldemar and Wilbert Prussing; and one grandchild, Shawn Haberberger. Survivors include her five children: Lonnie and his wife, Brenda Hagemann of Point, Texas; Karen and her husband, Roger Baker of Kiron, Iowa; Marlys and her husband, Gene Haberberger of Schleswig, Iowa; Janice of Fremont, Nebraska; and Craig Hagemann of Whiting, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; sisters: Julie Fay Prussing of Denison; Maxine Garrett and her husband, Alan of Denison; Betty Guy and her husband, Merlin of Audubon, Iowa; Elfrieda Waldemar of Carroll, Iowa; Jenny Lambert of Flagstaff, Arizona; Joleen Vincent and her husband, Ronald of Liberal, Kansas; two brothers: John Feddersen of Denison; and Ronald Feddersen and his wife, Barb of Brighton, Colorado; and one sister-in-law, Lorraine Groth of Battle Creek, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
