Margaret Comstock

Margaret Elizabeth Comstock was born April 15, 1919, the daughter of Richard and Lillian Laughran Kinney. She passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the Carroll Health Center in Carroll, Iowa, at the age of ninety-one.
Margaret was born in Denison, Iowa. She received her education in the Denison Schools and graduated from Denison High School in 1937. On January 7, 1941, she was united in marriage to Jeremiah "Jerry" Comstock in Vail, Iowa.
She was a loving and dedicated farm wife. She enjoyed plants and gardening. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting and crocheting. She made many lace doilies and won several blue ribbons for her crocheting. She loved animals and especially her dog. After her husbands death, she moved from the farm in Vail to Denison.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; and two sisters: Dorothy Mesenbrink and Genevieve Jacobsen. Survivors include many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
