Margaret Elaine Ford

Margaret Elaine Ford was born on January 16, 1944, the daughter of William and Dorothy Gerladine (Rice) Ford in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1993, she was one of the first residents to move into Mosaic in Denison, where she lived for 29 years. 

Margaret had an appreciation for nature, particularly evident in her love for bird watching, where she would spend countless hours observing their beauty and grace. She also had a special fondness for horses. She enjoyed watching television, finding delight in various cartoon shows and movies that brought her laughter and comfort. She also loved going for car rides, indulging in chocolate ice cream or Three Musketeers candy bars. Her connection with family was underlined by her treasured correspondence with her cousin. 

Margaret passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison at the age of 80 years, eight months and one day. 

Margaret is survived by her siblings: Scott (Linda) Ford, Joy (Gary) Hoffmann; Curt (Donna) Ford; her caretakers, Scott and Annie Ellison of Arion; and other relatives and friends.
