Marty L. Anderson

Marty Lee Anderson was born February 2, 1943, the son of Albert and Bernadine Anderson. He passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home in Deloit, Iowa, at the age of 72 years old.
Marty was born in Cherokee, Iowa and was baptized in Christ on June 13, 1943, at the Swedish Lutheran Church in Marcus, Iowa and was confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska on May 28, 1967. Marty attended Marcus Community Schools and was very involved & active in sports.
Marty has had many great career opportunities which included working for Western Electric in Omaha, Nebraska during the early 1960's, then moving to Arizona working for Safeway Foods. In 1971, Marty started working for Anheuser-Busch in Tempe, Arizona. After retiring in 1998, he returned to Deloit, where he currently lived. During his retirement years, Marty enjoyed visiting family & friends in Arizona every winter, golfing, fishing, yard work, and helping his son with trucking. During the last few years, he also enjoyed helping Randy and Dee Kruse and Lyle Meseck farm.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael. Survivors include; his best friend, Gloria; two sons: Ryan and his wife, Theresa; Troy and girlfriend, Robin;two brothers; Brad and his wife, Carol.; many other relatives and friends.
