Marvin August Kock

Marvin Kock, 63, of Britt, Iowa and formerly of Carroll and Forest City, passed away December 17, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Mason City, Iowa. Services will be at a later date
Marvin August Kock was born August 29, 1951 to Albert and Alice Kock at Denison. He was baptised as an infant and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison.
Marvin grew up on a farm in Goodrich Township and attended grade school in Deloit and graduated from Denison High School in 1970.
Following graduation Marvin went to work for the Earl May Seed and Nursery Company at Shenandoah and then he took at job at General Electric in Carroll. He later worked with Winnebago Industries in Forest City where he was employed for many years.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother Larry Koch of Scottsdale, Arizona and other relatives.
