Maxine Anne Boeck was born October 7, 1933, the daughter of Wilhelm and Leone Gehring. She died at Creighton University Medical Center Wednesday, January 20, 2016, peacefully with her family and Pastor Mahnken beside her.
Maxine was born on a farm on the Vernon Voss Road near Denison. She was baptized in Christ, November 22, 1933 at Zion and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith there April 10, 1949. She received her education in the Denison Community High School. After completing her education, she was united in marriage to Robert Bell, February 29, 1952. The couple settled in Denison and were blessed with the birth of two sons. On June 30, 2001, Maxine was united in marriage to Gaylord Boeck. The couple settled in Schleswig.
In her leisure time, Maxine enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She enjoyed soap operas, cooking, baking and family events. Playing cards with family and friends was an event she always looked forward to and competed in many euchre tournaments. Crafts such as pottery and painting were other activities she enjoyed.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Gaylord; two sons; Robert and James and his wife, Kristi; two grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Bell; one brother, Wilhelm (Sonny) and his wife, Charlene; three step-sons, Alan and his wife, Jeynell; Curtis and his wife, Robin; Gary and his wife, Sue; six step-grandchildren;other relatives and many friends.
