Michael A. Sturtevant

Michael Allen Sturtevant was born September 23, 1958 the son of LeRoy and Virginia Sturtevant. He passed away October 4, 2015 at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of fifty-seven.
Mike was born in LeMars, Iowa and received his education in the Denison Community Schools. Mike’s employment career spanned from working at the Denison Newspaper, night supervisor for Tyson and Purity Farms, drove truck for Sturtevant Trucking, and most recently
Ries Amusement Company. Mike’s favorite past times included drawing, watching stock car races and collecting Hot Wheels Cars. Mike also loved fishing at local ponds and enjoying the outdoors and nature. He also enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.
Survivors include: a dear friend, Lori; four children: Jason; Shane; Nathan and his wife, Amber; Justin; 3 grandchildren; one sister: Michelle and her husband, David; one brother: Mark and his fianc, Debbie; half brother: Kelly and his wife, Rachael; many other relatives and friends.
