Michael Jors

Michael Jason Jors was born May 1, 1972, the son of Jerrry and Nancy Kroeger Jors. He passed away on July 2, 2011, in Englewood, Colorado, at the age of 39.

Michael was born in Los Angeles, California. He moved with his family to Denison, Iowa, in 1974. He was baptized in Christ at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison on April 19, 1986, and also confirmed there on April 27, 1986. He attended Denison Community Schools graduating with the class of 1990. He worked at Godfathers Pizza after graduation and then joined the U.S. Navy. He moved to Colorado and worked for Colorado Springs Winair Company as a sales representative. He was married and blessed with the birth of two sons, Luke and Lance.
Michael loved Rocky Mountain life with its bountiful hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, and bow hunting for turkeys, deer, ducks, geese, pheasants, and elk.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald and Nora Lee; and Henry and Dorothy; his father, Jerry; his aunt, Vanessa; and his cousin, Justin. He is survived by his mother, Nancy; two sons: Lance and Luke; one sister, Michelle and her husband, Jason; and one niece, Megan; his aunts and uncles: Mike and his wife, Susy; Sonny; Sharon and her husband, Ron; Barb; and Kay; special friend, Kim; and many other relatives and friends.
