Nancy Holzfaster

Nancy Lee Holzfaster was born January 20, 1936, the daughter of Carl and Helen Laursen Hansen. She passed away at the Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa, on October 29, 2011, at the age of seventy-five.
She was born in Scranton, Iowa, and received her education in the Exira Community Schools. She worked at the Ice Cream Parlor and then at Bonnesens 5 & 10 Store in Atlantic. She was united in marriage to Dale Holzfaster on May 19, 1969.
Nancy enjoyed music and loved to dance. She was an excellent seamstress and made her own clothes and was also an immaculate housekeeper, paying meticulous attention to detail. Nancy was also very fond of dogs.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dale. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Sharon and her husband, Douglas; and Sandra and her husband Jim; six step-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty; and Mary; five nephews: Mike and his wife, Joy; Mark and his friend, Julie; Dennis and his wife, Chris; Monte; and Steve; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
