Natalie Jean Norks

Natalie Jean Norks was born to Tommie Jeanie Reandeau (Woody) and Steven Alphonse Reandeau on January 23, 1962 in El Paso, Texas. At the age of 17, Natalie was blessed with her first child, Toby in 1979. She graduated with her G.E.D. in 1982.

In 1983, Natalie was united in marriage to her first husband, Greggory Alvin Evans. Together, they had three children: Alvin in 1984, Charity in 1985, and Rebecca in 1986. Later they divorced and she moved to Minnesota where she met her soon to be husband Gary Norks; they were married in 1999.

Natalie enjoyed crocheting, working with plastic canvas, watching tv, and listening to the oldies, especially Elvis Presley. Her favorite pastimes were spent at cook outs, spending time with her dog, snowflake and bonding with her grandchildren.

Natalie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home in Charter Oak, Iowa, attaining the age of 61 years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford Reandeau, Viola Reandeau, Verse Reandeau, Sterling Woody and Ruby Hall; parents, Steven and Tommie Reandeau; brother, Steven Reandeau; sisters, Dorothy Yorgensen, Paula Carlson, and Kim Carlson; granddaughters, Victoria Reandeau and Blaise Vice; nephew, Ladel Malone, step-mom, Avis Reandeau, first husband, Greggory Evans; second husband, Gary Norks; sister-in-law, Donna Evans; brother-in-law, Ron Evans; loving animals: Midget, Taz, Stripe, Charcoal; grand-puppies, Ozzie, Spike, and Lil Bit.

She is survived by her loving children: Toby (Nina) Reandeau of Spencer, Alvin Evans of Deloit, Charity (Eddie Rice) Mainwaring of Charter Oak, and Rebecca (Trevor) McMinn of Charter Oak, brothers: John (Bonnie) Reandeau of Charter Oak and Joe (Shawna) Reandeau of Winger, Minnesota; adopted son, Micah (Sony) Vice of Charter Oak; adopted daughter, Sally Casey of Deloit; 8 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; 5 great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Per Natalie's wishes, she has been cremated and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
