Pam Prell

Pamela Raye Prell was born August 8, 1953, to Glen, Jr. and Lola Lane Wood . She passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, at the age of 59.
Pam was born in Mapleton, Iowa. She received her education in the Maple Valley Community Schools. After high school Pam worked at the Onawa Bakery, with her dad as a Caterpillar operator, and most recently as manager and owner of the convenience store in Ute, Iowa, until illness forced her into early retirement.
Pam was a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking lady. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and sewing.
Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. Survivors include her loving partner, Mike Keating; one son, Jody Wood; and one grandson, Darin Wood; all of Ute; her siblings, Jim Wood Sr. and his wife, Brenda of Holly Springs, Iowa; Michael Wood and his wife, Betty of Mapleton, Iowa; Tammy Crowe and her husband, Troy of New Jersey; Billy Campbell and his wife, Pam of Hartford, South Dakota; and Mary Kathleen Brown of Mapleton; nephews: Josh Sargent; Jimmy Jr, Jason, Shawn, Robbie, Terrance, Nick, Alex, Jed, Billy, and Mike; nieces: Michelle, Kerri, and Brittany; and dear friend, Patsy; other relatives and friends.
