Patricia Jo Rosauer was born December 7, 1951, the daughter of Thomas and Eleanor Martin Rosauer. She passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at her home in Denison, Iowa, at the age of 59.
Pat was born in Sioux City, Iowa. Her family moved to Denison in 1956. She graduated from Denison High School with the class of 1969 where she was a member of the girls golf team.
In 1973, she was employed by HYDES Variety store, upholding the motto, "HYDES HAS IT"until the store closed in 1994. She was then employed by Mary Hargens at Dons Incorporated in Denison.
Pat was an active member at St. Rose Catholic Church in Denison where she received her first communion in 1959.She was an enthusiastic Denison Monarch supporter, attending girls and boys basketball games and Monarch football and baseball games. She was also a Minnesota Vikings and Notre Dame football fan and a New York baseball fan. Pats hobbies were knitting, cross stitching, and reading. She also enjoyed collecting M & M memorabilia and Precious Moments figurines.
She was a wonderful sister and aunt and loved entertaining her nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces with "movie nights," serving popcorn, candy and pop and watching a good action or animated movie.
Pat was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her mother, Eleanor in 2009. She is survived by her father Tom, Sr.; two sisters: Judy; and Theresa and her husband, Harry; two brothers: Tom, Jr. and Dan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
