Patricia Lee McMurtrey Fenn was born on January, 20,1947, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. In 1966, Pat graduated from high school in Murray before pursuing her passion for nursing later in life. In 1991, she achieved her dream by graduating with a nursing degree from Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City—a testament to her perseverance and dedication.
Pat's journey was marked by significant milestones, none more profound than her marriage to the love of her life, David Fenn, on January 18, 1969, at the Church of Christ in Murray, Iowa. Their union was a beacon of love and strength that inspired all who knew them.
Pat led a life filled with love and joy. She exemplified grace and compassion in everything she did. Her dedication to her family and friends was unmatched, and she found true happiness in their company. Pat's children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart; they were the center of her universe. She also cherished her furry companions, Jasmine and Missy, who brought her immense joy and comfort.
In her leisure time, Pat found joy in tending to her flower gardens, watching and feeding birds, following exciting NASCAR races, visiting the casino for entertainment, and going camping. However, it was her trips to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee that held a special magic for her; those memories she treasured dearly.
On Monday, February 19, 2024, Pat passed away peacefully, at the age of 77 in Denison, Iowa.
