Peggy Lee Weilenman was born July 26, 1950, at Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Catherine Vauble. She passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Manning Regional Hospital in Manning, Iowa, at the age of sixty-seven.
Peggy received her education in the Lake View schools and was employed at the Black Hawk Caf in Lake View part time while she was a student and then worked full time. She was united in marriage to Gale Segebart on November 26, 1966, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia, Iowa. After moving to Denison in 1969, she worked at Eatmore Caf and then as a homemaker.
She loved to sew and do needlepoint, as well as play cards and bingo and go to the casinos. Peggy was a fan of the Miami Dolphins and of country-western music. She enjoyed socializing with friends and particularly enjoyed her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Mary and Sandy; and one brother, Gerald. Survivors include: three sons, Brian and his wife, Christy, and Brett and his wife, Sophia, and Kevin and his wife, Kathy; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Beverly, Shirley and her husband, Bill, Sharon, and Linda; one brother, Larry and his wife, Bonnie; other relatives and friends.
