Rhonda Hagge

Rhonda Sue Hagge was born March 28, 1967, the daughter of Dean and Phyllis (Eberle) Vollstedt. She passed away at her home in Westside, Iowa, on March 20, 2011, at the age of forty-three.
She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and graduated from Huxley High School with the class of 1985. She attended Nursing school at Des Moines Area Community College and graduated in 2004.
She was united in marriage to Michael Hagge on September 8, 1990, at the Methodist Church in Manning, Iowa. The couple made their home in Carroll before moving to the family farm near Westside and were blessed with the birth of two children.
Rhondas employment included home daycare, and nursing at Manning Hospital, Manilla Manor, and the Ar-We-Va Community Schools. She was a loving mother and wife, and enjoyed children, school sporting events, working on the computer, and her dog Sammy. She collected Longerberger baskets and was also a consultant for them. Rhonda was well liked by the patients and clients she took care of, with a special love for the disabled patients and handicapped students she took care of at school. She liked to communicate with people personally and also with her many friends on Facebook.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Dean; one daughter, Elizabeth, and brother-in-law Kevin. She is survived by her husband, Michael; one son, Mitchell; her mother, Phyllis; step mother-in-law, Phyllis; one brother, Jay and his wife Tina; one step sister, Pam and her husband, Denny; one step brother, David; one brother-in-law, Randy and his wife, Delia; two sisters-in-law, Brenda and her husband, Jim, and Jane; many other relatives and friends.
