Robin L. Furne

Robin Lea Furne was born May 4, 1959, at Denison, Iowa, the daughter of Bernhardt and Virgene Hollander. She passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, at her home in Denison, Iowa, at the age of fifty-eight.
Robin was baptized July 19, 1959, at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison and later confirmed that faith April 29, 1973, at Auburn, Iowa. She graduated from Lake View-Auburn High School with the class of 1977.
On July 13, 1985, she was united in marriage to Craig Furne. Robin was employed at Willow Dale Nursing Home in Battle Creek and then at Farmland Foods in Denison for 14 years. She began her employment for Dr. Dreyer in Denison in 2001 and currently was employed as the office manager.
Robin had a bubbly personality and enjoyed socializing. She liked going to Lake View, Okoboji and Spirit Lake where she enjoyed the lakeside, campfires and just cruising around the lake. Traveling to Colorado, the Black Hills and Yellow Stone were favorite trips for her. She found great pleasure in cooking for the entire family, sewing, embroidery, card games, family games, sister weekends, watching Net Flex series and dancing with Craig. She was an Iowa Hawkeyes fan and enjoyed country rock, classic rock, and concerts by the lake.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Bernhardt and Virgene; two brothers; Ron and Bernie; in-laws, Edward and Ida; five brothers-in-law, Andrew, Richard, Edward Jr., Frederick and Willis; and two sisters-in-law, Frances and Marla. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Craig; two daughters, Rianna, and Ashley and her husband, Andrew; three sisters, Joan and her husband, Wayne, Lynn and significant other, Lenny, and Tracey; four brothers-in-law, Wes and his wife, Diane, Roger and his wife, Judy, Dennis and his wife, Elaine, and Kendall; four sisters-in-law, Leanna; Carla and her husband, Larry; Ileen; and Cheryl; other relatives and friends.
