Ronald Jenkins

Ronald Rule Jenkins was born October 10, 1940, the son of Rule and Dorothy Linden Jenkins. He died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Denison Care Center in Denison, Iowa, at the age of seventy.
Ronald was born in Kiron, Iowa, attending rural school near his home. He worked on the farm with his family and drove trucks for Elmer Namanny, and Paul Mahoney of Schleswig, Iowa. He then moved to Des Moines to drive taxi for a few years.
In the mid 80's, he moved to Colorado to escape the busyness of city life and enjoy the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains. He returned to Denison in October 2009, making his home the Denison Care Center, to be closer to his family. He was a solitary man, but enjoyed coffee time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Dale in 2009. He is survived by two sisters: Rena and her husband, Carroll; and Sharon and her husband Wayne; one sister-in-law, Diane; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
