Sharon Elaine Campbell was born on September 14, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth and Beulah (Frazier) Ransom in Denison, Iowa. She was baptized and later confirmed her faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Soldier Township, near Ricketts. Sharon received her education from Denison High School.
On June 17, 1972, Sharon married Charles Campbell at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Soldier Township. They were blessed with two daughters, Milissa and Teresa, and made their home in Denison. Sharon worked alongside Chuck at CSL for many years until health challenges led her to focus on being a homemaker. The couple had the opportunity to travel extensively, including to Germany, thanks to Chuck’s career. After retiring, they settled in Arizona. Following Chuck’s passing, Sharon moved to Lebanon, Missouri, to be closer to her family.
Sharon was a member of the Lutheran Church in Lebanon. In earlier years, she and Chuck enjoyed being part of the Harley Davidson Club of the Ozarks. A creative spirit, Sharon loved crafting and crocheting. She often mended clothes and even made outfits for her daughters when they were young. Always active and hands-on, she was constantly finding ways to improve things around the home. She also enjoyed reading and had a deep love for animals, finding comfort and companionship with them. More than anything, Sharon treasured time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Sharon passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of 77 years, six months and 25 days. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Ransom; husband, Charles Campbell and great-grandson, Kolsen.
